They misrepresented the course that I signed up for, which was very, very very expensive, and now they’re telling me I can’t get a refund because I looked at some of the course material.

That sounds lovely. When I was a kid I used to craft my own Apple Head Dolls from granny smith apples. I make them every year in my home. I had no idea how witchy this craft was until I started researching about doll effigies in magical practices. This year I will keep one near my altar all year and compost it at the end of next Samhain.

What is everyone doing for Samhain? I probably have to work. But plan on lighting a candle near pictures of family that has passed, make soul cakes, carve pumpkin, give offering at the pine tree in my yard that I have decorated with a faerie house. I want to do more. Last year, I walked in a cemetery. Curious to know what other people are doing.
