That sounds lovely. When I was a kid I used to craft my own Apple Head Dolls from granny smith apples. I make them every year in my home. I had no idea how witchy this craft was until I started researching about doll effigies in magical practices. This year I will keep one near my altar all year and compost it at the end of next Samhain.
